| Setting up shop at the Pumpkin Fest on the Delaware River |
It was a gorgeous day as we hauled out the Herbal Soaps and Magickal Botanickal Incense blends for the annual Pumpkin Fest. Wish I had a photo of the tent after it was completely set up, but we had so much stuff, and we had to just keep adding as we went along. The gals from the
Arty Tea Party joined in.
There were many people out for this event, some fishing on the river, others having a hay ride, and my witch friend, eating her way around the fair...with not your usual fair menu...lobster rolls, clam chowder, oysters on the half shell, mussels with a vinaigrette slaw topping...empanadadas, whatever they are...not a hamburger or plain hot dog in sight! However, the cider, the wine bar, the beer bar, and the leftovers from the BAKE-OFF, made up for that, and, oh the triple decker pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting was AB FAB!!!
And what country fair is complete without a pie eating contest???
Pumpkin, of course!
